ACQUIRED DEFORMITIES

Acquired deformities can be a result of:
- trauma, like car accidents (fracture of the face bone, cuts, lose of tissue), violence, burns from different causes, work accidents, etc
- removal of tumors.

The plastic surgery on this cases are performed to improve function, but may also be done to approximate a normal appearance and improve the patient's self-esteem.

The treatment can be done in the clinic or in the hospital depending on the magnitude of the surgery that will be done.
