If you are considering ritidoplasty...
You will benefit from this surgery if you have one of the following conditions or any combination of them:
- a man or a woman of any age that feels their face is older than their mind
- a fallen or a lowered position of the eyebrows
- horizontal deep wrinkles on forehead
- depression or "lines of expression" between the eyebrows
- wrinkles at the base of the nose
- a very short forehead
- exaggerated bony prominences

How is the surgery performed?
- local anesthesia with conscious sedation
- incisions are hidden inside the hair
- treatment of the muscle layer
- elevation of the eyebrows to a more desirable height
- removal of the excess skin
- the patient will be in the clinic for a few hours, and go home on the same day

Postoperative
- the dressings are removed after 24 hours
- the stitches are removed after 7 days
- return to normal activities after 12 days
- your hair will disguise the scars
- the scars are almost not noticeable
- for the first month, must avoid activities in the sun

What are the possible complications?
- complications are not very frequent
- smokers are subjects to a slow healing process

How long does the result take?
- this depends on varying hereditary and lifestyle factors, even though the aging process continues
- in general, people are happy with their new appearance for many years
- some people feel the need to have another surgery later
